Let me tell you about my most profound relationship - the one with creativity. She's been my constant companion, my guide, my challenger, and my truth-teller. Since the beginning, she's been that presence in my life who creates space for authentic expression while gently holding me accountable when I start to drift away from my true self.
A Dance with Creativity
Creativity has been there through every season - the breakthroughs, the uncertainties, and all the moments of growth in between. She's held space for every triumph, every heartache, and every dream I've dared to imagine. And what I love most? She never asks me to be anything other than exactly who I am. No pretense, no expectations, just pure authenticity.
The Unexpected Turns of Creative Life
But here's the truth about creativity - it's not just about those perfect, inspired moments. Sometimes it's beautifully messy, sometimes it's wonderfully complicated, and yes, sometimes creativity seems to hold the mirror up to show expose what you’re fighting to see. But I've learned that every creative block, every challenge, is really an invitation to look deeper and understand myself better.
Starting this podcast? That's when creativity really challenged me in ways I hadn't experienced before. I found myself trying to quiet my voice, letting imposter syndrome and self-doubt take up too much space in my mind. But here's the beautiful part - this whole podcast journey became exactly what I needed to deepen my relationship with creativity and my own voice.

As the author of "The Sugar Jar," a wellness expert, and one of my most inspiring clients to create with, Yasmine approaches creativity with a sense of wonder that's truly refreshing.

It's this beautiful reminder that creativity flows through every aspect of our lives.

As she puts it, "When something comes out of me that I know wasn't me... those magic moments are so exciting."
What touched me most was her reflection on reconnecting with her younger creative self - the one who played saxophone and piano, who danced and explored photography, never questioning whether something was "practical" enough to pursue. It's a powerful reminder to create simply for the joy of creating.
